Supply Chain And Other Imperatives

Be it small or an organization operating on large scale, supply chain plays a pivotal role and this is what that enables an entrepreneur to add-in new dimensions to a business. But sadly, the fact cannot be overlooked that many entrepreneurs are still not familiar to different supply chains prevailing in the commercial sector.

This can be categorized into three chief genres:

•    Concentration supply chain

•    Batch Manufacturer

•    Retail Distribution

Concentration supply chain: this chain tends to have a limited number of customers, but more number of suppliers are involved in this. Say for instance: a producer who manufactures super market brands. Apart from this, an excise warehouse for a large retail supplier where the buyer has to be touch with owner. It’s been seen that the demand upsurges and there are lot of demanding requirements such as on spot deliveries or emergency deliveries. Usually, this has to do with the IT field.

Batch manufacture: this operates high on manufacturer’s end and he is usually at the hub of the chain. But contrary to the concentration chain, hordes of customers are usually associated with this chain. Here the communication goes normal i.e. normal receipt and communication with supplier (if needed). This has been seen that this majorly comes in incase of beverage or alcohol. Be it either warehouse space Chennai or any other location, majorly these things remains the same. 

Retail distribution channel: in this sort of operative supply chain India, retail and other excise goods are involved. Majorly the supply chains dealing in the excise ones are involved. Though this is highly vulnerable to risks, however more the risk, higher the return.

So as a whole, if you are likely to commence a new business, make sure that you keep a check over all these things.
